West Roxbury is a neighborhood located in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is situated within the metropolitan area of the city, bordered by several surrounding municipalities and neighborhoods.
The neighborhood is bounded by Roslindale and Jamaica Plain to the northeast, as well as the village of Chestnut Hill and the town of Brookline to the north. To the northwest lies the city of Newton, while the towns of Dedham and Needham border it to the southwest. Hyde Park serves as its southeastern neighbor. West Roxbury is separated from the neighborhood of Roxbury by Roslindale and Jamaica Plain.
