Middleborough is a town located in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, in the United States. As of 2023, the town had a population of 24,405. The census-designated place known as Middleborough Center serves as the primary village and commercial hub for the area.

The town is notable for its size, ranking as the second largest municipality by land area in Massachusetts and the nineteenth largest in New England. It identifies itself as the "Cranberry Capital of the World," with cranberry production remaining a significant component of the local economy. In 2015, approximately 1,400 acres of town land were dedicated to growing cranberries, representing roughly 3% of all land used for cranberry bogs in the United States.
