Holyoke is a city located in Hampden County, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is situated between the western bank of the Connecticut River and the Mount Tom Range. The city is positioned approximately 8 miles (13 km) north of Springfield.
As of the 2020 census, Holyoke had a population of 38,248 residents. It is an integral part of the Springfield Metropolitan Area, which is one of the two distinct metropolitan areas in the state of Massachusetts.
