Chicopee is a city situated on the Connecticut River in Hampden County, Massachusetts, United States. It is part of the Springfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the 2020 census, Chicopee had a population of 55,560, making it the second-largest city in western Massachusetts following Springfield. The city encompasses several communities, including Chicopee Center (Cabotville), Chicopee Falls, Willimansett, Fairview, Aldenville, Burnett Road, Smith Highlands, and Westover.
