Ness City is a city located in the state of Kansas, United States. It serves as the county seat for Ness County. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 1,329 residents.

The city is notable for its historic architecture, specifically the four-story Old Ness County Bank Building situated in the downtown area. Due to its height and prominence, the structure is commonly referred to by the nickname "Skyscraper of the Plains."
