West Lafayette is a city located in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, in the United States. It is situated approximately 65 miles northwest of Indianapolis and 113 miles southeast of Chicago. The city sits across the Wabash River from its sister city, Lafayette.

As a prominent college town, West Lafayette is home to Purdue University. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 44,595 and holds the distinction of being the most densely populated city in Indiana.
