Angola, officially known as the Republic of Angola, is a country located on the western coast of Southern Africa. It is bordered by Namibia to the south, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north, Zambia to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The nation also features an exclave province called Cabinda, which borders both the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
As a Lusophone nation, Angola is the second-largest Portuguese-speaking country in terms of both total area and population, following Brazil. It ranks as the seventh-largest country on the African continent. The capital and most populous city of the country is Luanda.
