South Lawndale is one of the 77 community areas of Chicago, located on the West Side of the city in Illinois, United States.

The area is characterized by a significant demographic concentration of residents of Mexican descent, who make up over 80% of the population. It serves as home to the largest foreign-born Mexican population in Chicago and contains two distinct neighborhoods known as Little Village and Marshall Square.
