Lincoln Park is a 1,208-acre (489-hectare) public park located along Lake Michigan on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. Named in honor of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, it serves as the city's largest public park and extends for seven miles from Grand Avenue in the south to near Ardmore Avenue in the north.
The park features diverse amenities including beaches, recreational areas, nature reserves, harbors, and parkland. The oldest section of the park, situated between North Avenue and Diversey Parkway, houses a zoo and two museums. With approximately 20 million visitors annually, it is ranked as the second-most-visited city park in the United States, following Manhattan's Central Park.
