Elk Grove Village is a village located in Cook and DuPage Counties in Illinois, United States. Incorporated on July 17, 1956, it is situated approximately 22 miles northwest of Chicago along the Golden Corridor. The community has an estimated population of 31,802 as of 2024.
The village is directly adjacent to O'Hare International Airport and serves as an economically significant hub for the Chicago metropolitan area. This importance is primarily due to a large industrial park situated on its eastern border. The area is accessible via several major interstate highways, including I-90, I-290/I-355/Route 53, and IL-390, with future access expected from the I-490 Western O'Hare Bypass.
