Pocatello is the largest city and the county seat of Bannock County, located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Idaho. It serves as the principal city of the Pocatello metropolitan area, which encompasses all of Bannock County.
A small portion of the city extends onto the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in neighboring Power County, where it contains the city's airport.
