Zebulun is a city located in the United States. However, historical and biblical contexts also identify Zebulun as one of the six sons of Jacob and Leah, according to the Books of Genesis and Numbers.
In religious history, Zebulun is recognized as the founder of the Israelite tribe of Zebulun. Because Leah was a matriarch, scholars believe the tribe was considered part of the original Israelite confederation within biblical texts.
