West Hollywood is a city located in Los Angeles County, California, in the United States. It is situated geographically between the cities of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Although it shares a name with the famous district, West Hollywood has never been part of Hollywood or the City of Los Angeles.
The city was incorporated in 1984 and currently serves as home to the Sunset Strip. According to the 2020 U.S. census, the population of West Hollywood was 35,757 residents.
