North Miami Beach is a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, within the United States. It serves as part of the broader Miami metropolitan area in South Florida.
The city was originally established in 1926 under the name "Fulford-by-the-Sea," named in honor of Captain William H. Fulford of the U.S. Coast Guard. It was officially renamed North Miami Beach in 1931. According to the 2020 US census, the city had a population of 43,676.
