Navarre

United States

Navarre, officially known as the Chartered Community of Navarre, is a landlocked foral autonomous community and province located in northern Spain. It shares borders with the Basque Autonomous Community, La Rioja, and Aragon within Spain, as well as the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in France. The capital city of the community is Pamplona.

The modern province encompasses the majority of the territory formerly held by the medieval Kingdom of Navarre. This historical Pyrenean kingdom occupied lands on both sides of the western Pyrenees; its northernmost section, known as Lower Navarre, remains situated in the southwest corner of France today.
