Key West is a coral cay island located in the Straits of Florida at the southernmost end of the U.S. state of Florida. It serves as a primary location within the outlying Florida Keys archipelago.
The City of Key West is composed of the main island along with all or parts of several separate islands, including Dredgers Key, Fleming Key, Sunset Key, and the northern portion of Stock Island.
