Haines City is a city located in Polk County, Florida, within the United States. It serves as part of the Lakeland–Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 26,669 residents. The demographic composition of the area is characterized by a population that was almost half Hispanic, approximately one quarter white, and about one fifth African American at the time of the census.
