Estero is an incorporated village located in Lee County, Florida, within the United States. It is part of the Cape Coral-Fort Myers Metropolitan Statistical Area and had a recorded population of 36,939 as of the 2020 census.
The community was previously designated as an unincorporated census-designated place until it officially incorporated as a village on December 31, 2014. It is situated directly adjacent to the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve, which is also known as Estero Bay Preserve State Park and is located within Estero Bay.
