Glastonbury is a town and civil parish located in Somerset, England. It is situated at a dry point on the low-lying Somerset Levels, approximately 23 miles (37 km) south of Bristol. The town lies less than 1 mile (2 km) across the River Brue from the village of Street.
According to the 2021 census, the parish had a population of 8,980, while the built-up area recorded a population of 8,300. Although it is a notable town in the region, the neighboring village of Street has become larger than Glastonbury.
