South Yuba City is an unincorporated community and former census-designated place (CDP) located in Sutter County, California, in the United States. It serves as a residential area within the Yuba City Metropolitan Statistical Area of the Greater Sacramento Census Area.
According to data from the 2000 census, the population of South Yuba City was 12,651. The community is situated in the northern part of California's Central Valley region.
