South Whittier is an unincorporated community located in Los Angeles County, California, in the United States. It is situated just south of the city of Whittier and is designated as a census-designated place (CDP) for statistical purposes by the United States Census Bureau.
According to the 2020 census, the population of South Whittier was 56,415, representing a decrease from the 57,156 residents recorded in the 2010 census.
