Santa Paula is a city located in Ventura County, California, within the United States. Situated in the Santa Clara River Valley, the city is surrounded by orchards and identifies itself to tourists as the "Citrus Capital of the World."
Historically, Santa Paula served as one of the early centers for California's petroleum industry. The Union Oil Company Building, which functioned as the founding headquarters for the Union Oil Company of California in 1890, currently houses the California Oil Museum. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 30,657.
