Rubidoux is a neighborhood located in Riverside County, California, within the Inland Empire region of Southern California. It is part of the Greater Los Angeles Area and was formerly an unincorporated community and census-designated place until July 1, 2011, when it became a neighborhood of the city of Jurupa Valley.
Historically, Rubidoux was characterized as a rural area featuring dairy farms and quarries. During the mid to late 20th century, the area underwent a transformation into a suburb serving the surrounding larger regions. According to the 2010 census, the population of Rubidoux was 34,280.
