Rancho Mirage is a city located in Riverside County, California, within the United States. It is situated in the Colorado Desert section of the Sonoran Desert, nestled along the foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountains to the south. The city is positioned several minutes east of Palm Springs and shares borders with Cathedral City, Palm Desert, and the unincorporated community of Thousand Palms.
Incorporated in 1973, Rancho Mirage is one of the nine cities that comprise the Coachella Valley.
