Orcutt is an unincorporated town situated in Santa Barbara County, California, within the United States. It is located specifically in the region known as the Santa Maria Valley.
The community was named in honor of William Warren Orcutt, who served as the manager of the Geological, Land and Engineering Departments for the Union Oil Company.
