Menifee was an American Thoroughbred racehorse known for competing in the 1999 Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. During this period, he established a notable rivalry with another Triple Crown contender named Charismatic.
The competition between Menifee and Charismatic was frequently compared to the historic 1978 rivalry between Affirmed and Alydar, who won and placed in all three races that year. Menifee was trained by W. Elliott Walden and was ridden by Pat Day in all three of his Triple Crown appearances.
