Culver City is a city located in Los Angeles County, California, in the United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 40,779. It is primarily surrounded by the city of Los Angeles and shares an eastern border with the unincorporated area of Ladera Heights.
The city was incorporated in 1917 and was named in honor of Harry Culver. It serves as a residential and commercial hub within the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
