Chula Vista

Chula Vista is a city located in San Diego County, California, within the United States. It is situated in the South Bay area, positioned approximately 7.5 miles (12.1 km) between the downtown centers of the San Diego–Tijuana region. The city derives its name from its scenic location nestled between the coastal mountain foothills and San Diego Bay.

As of the 2020 census, Chula Vista had a population of 275,487, an increase from 243,916 in 2010. It ranks as the second-most populous city in the San Diego metropolitan area and is the seventh-most populous city in Southern California. Nationally, it is identified as the 81st-most populous city in the United States.
