Atwater Village

Atwater Village is a neighborhood located in the 13th district of Los Angeles, California. Situated in the northeast region of the city, much of the area lies within the fertile flood plain of the Los Angeles River.

The neighborhood is bordered by Griffith Park and Silver Lake to the west, Glendale to the north and east, and Glassell Park to the south, with railroad tracks forming its eastern boundary. The community includes three elementary schools, consisting of two public and one private institution. Notably, nearly half of the residents were born outside of the United States, representing a high percentage for the city of Los Angeles.
