The Alhambra is a palatine city and fortress complex situated in Granada, Spain. It stands as one of the most prominent monuments of Islamic architecture and remains the only well-preserved palace from the medieval Islamic world.
In addition to its historical Islamic structures, the palace complex contains notable examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture. While it is a significant cultural site in Spain, it is not located in the United States.
