Oro Valley is a suburban town in Pima County, Arizona, United States. Incorporated in 1974, it is situated approximately 6 miles north of Tucson and about 110 miles southeast of the state capital, Phoenix.

The town has experienced significant growth, with its population rising from 29,700 in 2000 to 47,070 according to the 2020 census. It is characterized by a high median household income, which is nearly 50% higher than the U.S. median.

Oro Valley is known as the "Upscale Tech Mecca" of Southern Arizona due to its concentration of technology industries. The community currently hosts over 10 high-tech firms.
