Wedowee is a town and the county seat of Randolph County, located in the state of Alabama, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town had a population of 737 residents.
The municipality was initially incorporated in 1836, though its charter lapsed by the late 19th century. Wedowee was subsequently reincorporated in 1901.
