Elba is a Mediterranean island located in Tuscany, Italy. It is situated in the Tyrrhenian Sea, approximately 10 km (6.2 mi) from the coastal town of Piombino on the Italian mainland and about 50 km (30 mi) east of the French island of Corsica.
The island is the largest member of the Tuscan Archipelago and ranks as the third-largest island in Italy, following Sicily and Sardinia. It is also designated as part of the Arcipelago Toscano National Park.
