Buhweju is a historical kingdom located in what is now modern-day Uganda. It served as a distinct political entity within the region before being incorporated into the British Ankole protectorate in 1901.
The kingdom was governed by a ruler known as an Omugabe, a title frequently translated as "King of Kings."
