Njeru is the largest town in the Buikwe District, located within the Central Region of Uganda. Primarily functioning as a residential area, it serves as a significant urban center for the district.
The town is notable for hosting several major industrial facilities. These include East African Packaging Solutions Limited, which manufactures paper packaging supplies, and Nyanza Textile Industries Limited (Nytil), a textile manufacturer. Additionally, the town is home to Nile Breweries Limited, a subsidiary of AB InBev.
