Huliaipole is a small city located in the Polohy Raion of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast in Ukraine. As of January 2022, the city had an estimated population of 12,786, ranking it as the ninth most populous city within the Zaporizhzhia region at that time.
The city is notably recognized as the birthplace of Nestor Makhno, a prominent Ukrainian anarchist revolutionary. Beyond its historical significance regarding Makhno, Huliaipole serves as a local administrative and residential center in the oblast.
