Enerhodar is a city and municipality located in the northwest of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast in Ukraine. It is situated on the left bank of the Dnieper River, positioned across from Nikopol and Chervonohryhorivka on the opposite side of the Kakhovka Reservoir.
The primary industry of Enerhodar is electricity generation, which is facilitated by both coal-fired plants and large nuclear power stations. Approximately 11,000 residents work at the city's nuclear power station out of an estimated total population of 52,237. Since early 2022, the city has been under Russian occupation.
