Lake Synevyr is the largest lake located within the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine. It is situated in the Mizhhiria Raion of the Zakarpattia Oblast, positioned near the village of Synevyr Poliana.
The lake is a prominent feature of the Synevyr National Nature Park, which was established in 1989 to protect the area. Scientists estimate that the body of water formed approximately ten thousand years ago. Due to its natural significance, it was recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Ukraine in 2008.
