Svaliava is a city situated in western Ukraine within the Zakarpattia Oblast. It is geographically positioned along the Latorytsia River.
The city served as the administrative center of the Svaliava Raion until that district was abolished in 2020. Currently, Svaliava is located within the Mukachevo Raion and has a population of 17,068 residents.
