Pidhaitsi is a small city located in the Ternopil Raion of the Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine. It is situated approximately 15.5 miles (24.9 km) south of Berezhany and 62 miles (100 km) south-east of Lviv.
The settlement officially obtained city status in 1939. Today, it serves as the administrative center for the Pidhaitsi urban hromada, one of the local administrative divisions of Ukraine. The city has a population of 2,609 residents.
