Kovel

Kovel is a city located in the Volyn Oblast of northwestern Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center for the Kovel Raion within the oblast and has a population of approximately 67,575 residents.

The city is notable for its transportation infrastructure, specifically the Chełm–Kovel railway. This line connects Kovel to Chełm in Poland and represents the longest standard-gauge railway linking Ukraine to the rest of Europe.
