Orativ is a rural settlement located in the Vinnytsia Oblast of Ukraine, situated within the historic region of Podillia. Historically, it served as the administrative seat of the former Orativ Raion.
The settlement maintained the status of a village until 1984 and currently has a population of approximately 2,694 residents. Before the Holocaust, the area was characterized by a large Jewish population.
