Koziatyn is a city located in the Vinnytsia Oblast of central Ukraine. Situated on the banks of the Huiva River, it is positioned approximately 75 kilometres (47 miles) from the oblast capital, Vinnytsia. The city has a population of 22,241.
Historically, Koziatyn served as the administrative center of the Koziatyn Raion. While the city was previously incorporated as an independent city of regional significance, it was integrated into the Vinnytsia Raion in 2020 and subsequently became part of the Khmilnyk Raion.
