Saranchuky

Saranchuky is a village located in the Ternopil Raion of the Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine. It is situated within the historic region of Halychyna and lies in a large, fertile valley plain along the Zolota Lypa River, approximately 15 km south of Berezhany.

The name Saranchuky is derived from the word "sarancha," which means locust. The village serves as the administrative center for the Saranchuky rural hromada, one of the local administrative divisions in Ukraine.
