Kozova

Kozova is a rural settlement located in the Ternopil Raion of the Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine. Situated within the historical region of Galicia, it lies approximately 16 km east of Berezhany, 30 km west of Ternopil, and 100 km southeast of Lviv.

The settlement serves as the administrative center for the Kozova settlement hromada. Geographically, it is positioned beside a lake on the Koropets River. The name Kozova is presumed to derive from the Ukrainian word "koza," meaning goat, though other etymological origins are possible. As of recent records, the settlement has a population of 8,750.
