Velyka Pysarivka is a rural settlement situated in the Sumy Oblast of northeastern Ukraine. It is located on the left bank of the Vorskla, which serves as a tributary to the Dnieper River. The settlement is positioned in close proximity to the border with Russia.
Historically, Velyka Pysarivka served as the administrative center of the Velyka Pysarivka Raion. It is currently administered within the Okhtyrka Raion and has a population of 3,928 residents.
