Lebedyn is a city located in the Sumy Oblast of north-eastern Ukraine. It is situated within the Sumy Raion and serves as a regional population center with approximately 23,892 residents.
Historically, Lebedyn served as the administrative center of the Lebedyn Raion until July 2020, at which point it was administratively incorporated as a city of oblast significance. The city features key infrastructure including a railway station and is located near an air base.
