Esman is a rural settlement located in the Shostka Raion of the Sumy Oblast in Ukraine. It is situated on the left bank of the Esman River, which serves as a right tributary of the Kleven river within the Dnieper drainage basin.
The settlement serves as the administrative center for the Esman settlement hromada, one of the local administrative divisions in Ukraine. As of recent data, the population of Esman is 1,293 residents.
