Inkerman is a city located on the Crimean peninsula. It is situated approximately 5 kilometres east of Sevastopol at the mouth of the Chernaya River, where it flows into the Sevastopol Inlet.
The administrative status of Inkerman has undergone recent changes. While it is de jure located within the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of Ukraine, it is currently de facto part of the federal city of Sevastopol under Russian administration. As of September 2023, it became a de jure part of Bakhchysarai Raion of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The city has a population of 10,348 residents.
