Poltava is a city located on the Vorskla River in Central Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center for both Poltava Oblast and the Poltava Raion within that oblast. Additionally, it hosts the administration of the Poltava urban hromada.
As of 2022, the city had an estimated population of 279,593 residents.
